Harry Kane Hat-trick Wins Bayern Double?

Harry Kane has been a formidable player in the German Cup, netting three goals to take Bayern Munich to a 3-0 win against Monaco – and ultimately a domestic double – after six years, in which the England skipper has dominated the tournament. Bayern Munich’s win of the German Cup was decided by Harry Kane, who scored twice in the match against VfB Stuttgart 3-0.

The Bundesliga winners found the form of the first half to be rough going and were kept under pressure for much of the game. Stuttgart dominated possession and scored more chances early but couldn’t convert them. It was a game that took a turn after half time. Harry Kane was allowed to go first in the 55th minute, when Michael Olise fed him an accurate cross on to him which he smoothed to the far post.

This would restore the lost faith in the first half for Bayern. Bayern, meanwhile, took advantage of quick breaks to fling itself at Stuttgart again. Kane’s second was the result of a well-constructed attack which swept through Stuttgart’s ranks 10 minutes before full-time. He was again in the right place and at the right time in the final. Kane struck the third goal in stoppage time with a cool penalty to put Bayern Munich 3-0 up and establish them as the German Cup champions.

Harry Kane’s hat trick in Bayern Munich’s German Cup triumph 3-0 victory also brought the spotlight to his historic campaign. He was the 3rd player in history to score in all of the rounds of the German Cup including the final round. He’s been extremely consistent, scoring 61 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions this season.
