Will Messi Compete in His Sixth World Cup?

The Argentine national team captain, considered the greatest player of all time, has revealed what he needs to do to play in his sixth World Cup.

Lionel Messi answered the key question: would he play in the 2026 World Cup?

Messi still doubts his sixth World Cup appearance, but he shared the key to peaking.

“I hope to finish this year well and start next year on the right foot by having a good pre-season, which I missed last year due to the number of trips we made,” he said in a 433 interview.

He also explained how he controls his thoughts.

“It’s not that much time left, but at the same time it feels like a lot; anything can happen in football, that’s why I try to live day by day and not think too far ahead,” he said.

Messi, 35, spoke again about his emotions after winning the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022 and two Copa America titles with Argentina.

“Thank God I was able to achieve my greatest dream, which was to win the World Cup, for which I fought so hard and which cost so much,” said.

Messi discussed superhero games, which are important to him and his family.

I love superheroes, and my family does too. Hard Rock has given me the chance to share my take. Meet the new ‘Captain Messi’! I hope you like… He stated that @hardrock and @hardrockhotels will offer it exclusively with their new kids’ menus.

Dibu Martínez is thrilled to continue working with Lionel Messi on the Argentine national team and at the club.

Dibu remarked about the captain and grieved Leo’s example at 37 after receiving the “Lev Yashin” Award again as the world’s finest custodian.

I watched the Bolivia match. I thought, ‘wow, incredible.’ I hope I can play a fourth of what he’s doing at that age,” he told DSports, expressing respect and surprise. Dibu plans to continue “until my body lets me.”

Dibu watched the match against Bolivia from afar because he missed Messi’s last two call-ups due to injury and suspension, but he knows they will be reunited soon: “I know that in 10 days I’ll be with the national team, and I smile.”
