Who Did Everton Sign on Loan for the Season?

On Tuesday, both Everton and Manchester City said that Everton had signed English midfielder Jack Grealish on loan for the whole season. Grealish moved to City from Aston Villa for £100 million four years ago. He has played less in the last season, which has led to rumors about his transfer.

The England international only started seven games for City in the 2024/25 season and wasn’t picked for the latest Club World Cup roster. David Moyes, the manager of Everton, really likes Grealish, who will turn 30 next month. Everton, who came in 13th last season, could have made the trade permanent for 50 million pounds at the end of the loan period, according to reports.

People say that Grealish makes 300,000 pounds a week right now. Everton said that Grealish will wear the number 18, which is the same number that Paul Gascoigne and Wayne Rooney wore when they played for the club.

Grealish might play for Everton in their first Premier League game against Leeds United on August 18.
