Swiss Servette to meet Chelsea in Conference League playoffs

Swiss club Servette will play Chelsea in the Europa Conference League playoffs after they were eliminated from the Europa League by Braga. Having secured a goalless first leg, Servette lost 2-1 in the second leg at the Stade de Genève to Braga, who progressed at their expense.

The second leg will be a week later in Switzerland as part of the Conference League playoffs, with Servette now playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on August 22. After winning their first major trophy in 23 years with the Swiss Cup in June, Servette also finished last 16 in the Conference League for the same season.
