This is a blow to Manchester United because their striker, Benjamin Sesko, has been declared unfit to play their next match in the premier leagues against Everton, with reports stating that the forward will not be available even within the rest of the month of November.

The Slovenia international, who is 21 years old, sustained a knee injury during the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur just before the international break, a game that there had been no clear indication of any serious injury. Nonetheless, Sesko will receive a brief recovery period after additional tests by the medical personnel of United at Carrington revealed that the injury is not thought to be permanent but that Sesko will require a brief waiting period.

Consequently, Sesko was removed out of the international team of Slovenia so that he could be treated and rehabilitated in Manchester. The initial tests indicate that he might be back in December and this gives United optimism that he will play their hectic winter schedule of games that involves six major games.

Before the end of the year, Manchester United will have to play West Ham, Wolves, Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Newcastle, and one more match against Wolves, which is why the physical recovery of Sesko is essential to the depth of the squad and the presence of tactical balance.

Sesko has scored two goals in 12 games since he joined United in the summer after leaving RB Leipzig, and although his numbers are in the process of being built, he has accelerated, moved, and is a target man, which has been used as the key to forward planning by United manager Ruben Amorim. Bryan Mbeumo, who joined the club in the summer, will still lead the line in the absence of Sesko; the former has already made a great contribution of four goals to the club.
