Scaloni Reflects on Success, Struggles!

Lionel Scaloni became Argentina’s best coach after 28 years without a trophy and four consecutive titles. Scaloni stated he “almost left” Argentina after winning the 2022 World Cup with Messi.

After beating France, the Argentine coach told Neura Media’s Alejandro Fantino, “I wasn’t feeling alright after the World Cup, after Brazil and El Maracana.” My discomfort caused fresh anxieties. Six months after the World Cup, we competed for qualifying again.”

When asked about his desperation or pain, Scaloni reacted bluntly. I didn’t talk to anyone, so I couldn’t say. Keep my wife’s advise to see a specialist. He said, “I have to think” after the Maracana since he wasn’t 100%.

Maybe thinking on your accomplishments is detrimental. This was discussed with my coaches, wife, and Pablo Aimar. The Argentine said that once we’ve won a lot of trophies, you wonder what’s next. We always want more, so people scream for more, and your head wonders, ‘What would be better than this?’ So I don’t think thinking helps,” he said.
