It hasn’t taken Cristiano Ronaldo long to shine in Saudi Arabia, and he’s already won his first prize after only a few games. The Portuguese great was voted the Saudi Professional League’s February player of the month.

Ronaldo has only appeared in five games, but he has scored eight goals, putting him only five goals behind his colleague Talisca (13) who leads the division in scoring.

It might not be long until the ex-Manchester United player catches up. The former Real Madrid forward has seven goals and two assists in his last two games. He also scored on his debut, capping off what has been a solid first month for CR7 at Al Nassr.

This is the third manager of the month title for the former Mallorca and Espanyol coach this season. Marcelo Grohe, 36, of Brazil, formerly of Gremio and twice capped by his country, was named the best goalkeeper of the month. He has been for Al-Ittihad since 2019.
