Salah’s Future at Liverpool Uncertain

Star Egyptian footballer Mohamad Salah discussed his Liverpool future weeks before the January 2025 transfer window. After Liverpool’s win over Southampton, the 32-year-old striker told the media that he had not been offered a contract extension, according to the club’s website.

I haven’t received any offers to stay in the club yet, and December is almost here. I’m probably more outside than in. I’ve been a club member for years. No club is like this. However, it is not mine. Salah stated that he has not received any future news as of December.

The Egyptian was disappointed but focused on leading the club to Premier League and UEFA Champions League glory.

Love the fans. My admirers adore me. In the end, neither I nor the supporters have control. Wait and see. I won’t retire soon, therefore I’m playing to win the Premier League and hopefully the Champions League. Disappointed, but we’ll see.”

Salah, 32, has previously hinted at a departure. He has been open about his contract and transfer predicament. Salah can sign with other clubs on a Bosman transfer next summer due to his unsettled Liverpool deal.
