Ruben Amorim Confident Bruno Fernandes Will Stay at Man Utd

Under rumours of an Al-Hilal bid, Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim opened up on Bruno Fernandes’s future at the team, saying the Portuguese midfielder wants to stay.

Reports state that the Saudi Pro League (SPL) team is ready to pay £100 million to acquire the Manchester United captain and make Fernandes among the top-paid players in the world. United boss Amorim, meanwhile, seemed unmoved by the chatter and stayed sure Fernandes would continue at United.

Furthermore, he said, Fernandes expects the United to intervene and bring about some transformation.

“I not think so,” he remarked.

Though nobody knows for sure, I do not think so.

“I believe he wants to stay since he is seeing us act to improve things.

Although he is declining many things, he decided he wanted to win. He needs to be in the top league on earth; he is quite young and quite good. Indeed, there is another way we might make money.

Despite the team’s poor performance this season, Fernandes is among the best players of the United with 19 goals and setting up 20 goals throughout all contests.

After losing the Europa League final, the United captain said he needed to “look at himself” and also said he wants the team returned to the place where it deserves to be.

“As everyone in that dressing room wants to return the club back where it belongs. Clearly, this is a somewhat sad day since we were unable to award a trophy to this team to attempt to turn a negative season into something worthwhile.

“But clearly, we must examine ourselves and grasp whatever each one of us can do to enable the team to grow better.”
