Legendary Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo created a stir around the world when he started his YouTube channel, ‘UR Cristiano’. The 39-year-old football player set a Guinness World Record for the most 24-hour subscribers when he offered a preview for his next podcast episode.

Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo’s podcast guest and former Manchester United teammate, shows up at his house early in the morning in the teaser for his upcoming episode. In the video, Ferdinand informed Ronaldo that he was on his way to choose his next podcast guest.

When Ronaldo indicated he was “recording a video” with them, Ferdinand inquired as to who the new visitor was. The identity was kept a “secret” by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. The next visitor, Ronaldo threatened, was “going to break the internet” when Ferdinand answered.

This teaser caused fans to go bananas, with some even speculating that Ronaldo’s podcast guest would be his bitter rival Lionel Messi.

“The planet will break when Cristiano Ronaldo has Lionel Messi as a guest,” stated Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos.

Although Messi’s participation has not been officially confirmed, supporters are always thrilled about a conversation. Rio Ferdinand and Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodríguez are among the guests on “UR Cristiano” who offer a more in-depth look at the former Real Madrid player’s life and career.
