According to Spanish media, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, is in talks to buy Valencia. According to Foot Mercato, cited by BeIN Sports, Cristiano Ronaldo has discussed becoming Valencia’s primary stakeholder with Peter Lim.

Ronaldo and Peter Lim are good friends and operate several businesses together. Lim owns the Portuguese star’s image rights, highlighting their close relationship. Ronaldo wants to buy Valencia, but Peter Lim wants to sell his full ownership before the end of the season.

Before settling in Spain after his playing career, the Portuguese legend is anticipated to seek Saudi Arabia’s royal investment funds’ financial backing. Valencia, founded in 1919, has won six La Liga titles, one UEFA Cup, one Cup Winners’ Cup, and two Cups.

Ronaldo has earned 200 million euros (208 million dollars) every year since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023. The Saudi club’s 40-year-old attacker has scored 25 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 appearances this season.
