After three years at Lyon, Bompastor joined Chelsea in May and has won all 11 games. Real Madrid will join Chelsea in the quarterfinals from the same section after their 3-2 win against Twente. The Dutch lead through Jaimy Ravensbergen’s opening, but Linda Caicedo equalised at halftime before Signe Bruun and Alba Redondo’s late goals gave Madrid control. Sophie Te Brake gave Twente a late equaliser.

Lyon defeated Roma 4-1 to maintain their Group A spotless record. Roma startled the home side when Giulia Dragoni scored with 16 minutes to go, but Kadidiatou Diani, who started on the bench, scored again quickly to put Lyon ahead.
