Portuguesa Chief Claims Club Can Sign Ronaldo

Paulista A1 team Portuguesa is acting to draw top European stars. They tried to sign Radamel Falcao and Nani earlier. Their focus is now on the Portuguese icon.

“Reinforcement and rescue the pride of the Portuguese community here in Brazil, definitely that was exactly it (the attempt to sign Nani),” he stated. “We are behind and we will try for 2026, for the Paulistão to bring in a great Portuguese.”

He went on, “He’s the best Portuguese of all time, the greatest personality in the world today. It would be fantastic, but I can see how many people don’t present Cristiano Ronaldo anything connected to Portugal. He is clearly a wonderful Portuguese, though, and we will inevitably have to try to communicate at some point.”

Bourgeois also discussed how football may help to forge close ties between Brazil and Portugal. The attacker, forty years old, is in the last months of his Al-Nassr contract. He is free to bargain pre-contractually with different teams.

Reports, however, point to Ronaldo perhaps staying in Saudi Arabia. With a new contract with Al-Nassr, he might make €183 million year, ranking best among all the football players worldwide. Fascinatingly, Ronaldo was just left off of Al-Nassr’s traveling team for their AFC Champions League game against Esteghlal.

His next game is scheduled for March 7, when Al-Nassr plays Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
