A poor run of PSG continues with Reims draw. Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home against Stade de Reims with 10 men resulted in the continuation of Paris Saint-Ligue Germain’s 1 mediocrity. Neymar scored early in the second half, Marco Verratti was issued a straight red card immediately after entering the game as a replacement, and Folarin Balogun tied the score six minutes into stoppage time.

The trailing group of RC Lens, Olympique de Marseille, and Monaco all earned only one point on Saturday, preventing PSG from extending their Ligue 1 advantage to five points. The capital club, who had lost two of their previous three games, has 48 points after 20 contests, with Lens on 45 and Marseille on 43 in a wide-open fight for the championship. Reims is ranked eleventh in Ligue 1 with 26 points after extending their winning streak to 12 games.
“I don’t have the words to describe this match. We need to change our mindset,” said PSG midfielder Danilo Pereira.
“We have to be able to suffer together. If we can’t do that it’s going to be tough for us.”
