Phil Foden returns to training before Premier League run-in
Manchester City are four points behind leaders Arsenal going into their last eight Premier League games, and Phil Foden has returned to training. The 22-year-old midfielder had his appendix removed last month while on international duty with England and has been out of action ever since.
In 36 games this season, Foden has found the back of the net 13 times for City. City is in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and the FA Cup and will play Bayern Munich on Wednesday with a 3-0 lead from the first leg. They’ll host Arsenal in the Premier League on April 26 and play Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend. They’re now four points behind the Gunners with a game in hand.
