According to an Athletic Bilbao press release, Gift will begin his professional career with the club’s reserve squad, CD Basconia, playing in the fifth Spanish football division in 2022-2023. The 17-year-old hinted he was leaving Liverpool two days ago, albeit he did not say which team he was joining.
