Nkunku Signs Five-Year Deal with AC Milan

AC Milan announced on Saturday that they had signed forward Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea on a five-year deal. This is a new chapter for the Frenchman after a disappointing time in England.

The British press says that the transfer fee is about €42 million ($49.17 million), but the exact amount was not made public.

After a great start to his career in Germany, Nkunku didn’t live up to the expectations of fans and his club in the Premier League. Now that he has a new signing, he will be trying to get back to his best.

But in June 2023, Nkunku signed a six-year deal with Chelsea, just after he had an amazing run in the Bundesliga, where he was known for being able to play many positions, being creative, and scoring goals.

He didn’t do well in England, as injuries and uneven playing time made things hard for him. In 62 games for Chelsea, Nkunku scored 18 goals.

Nkunku was a big part of Chelsea’s great season, during which the Blues won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League. However, he had some personal problems.

Nkunku is the newest addition to Milan’s rebuilding endeavour. He is coming off of the team’s bad eighth-place finish in Serie A last season.

He is joining previous summer acquisitions Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, and Pervis Estupinan as the Rossoneri strive to become important again in Italy and Europe.

Milan is excited about Nkunku’s offensive skills and extensive experience making a big difference. Moving to Italy provides him a chance to get back to the top and prove that he can produce at the same high level as before. The number 18 shirt will be worn by Nkunku.
