Mbappe Back in Real Madrid Training

On Wednesday, Kylian Mbappe went back to training with his Real Madrid teammates after getting better from severe gastroenteritis.

Last week, Mbappe went to a hospital in the Miami region with extreme gastroenteritis. A source from the club also indicated before the beginning of the FIFA Club World Cup that Mbappe was not going to play in any group games.

The French forward went to the hospital on Wednesday and was released on Thursday. He had been kept away from his teammates on Tuesday. The French forward has been going to the gym by himself to get better since then.

Mbappe missed Real’s first two games, a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal and a 3-1 win over Pachuca, while he was recovering.

Madrid sits on the top of Group H with four points, ahead of RB Salzburg on goal difference with Al-Hilal, who can still qualify for the knockout phase, on two. Madrid is poised to play their deciding Group H encounter at the Club World Cup against RB Salzburg on Thursday.

Mbappe probably won’t start the game even if he’s in great shape. The striker is said to have lost about 4 to 5 kg over this time.

The Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia is likely to play in his position for the club because he has done so well in the first two games. Mbappe has scored 43 goals for Madrid in all competitions, and he will want to add to that figure at the Club World Cup.
