Manchester United has confirmed that their Premier League game at Brighton & Hove Albion has been moved because Brighton & Hove Albion have made it to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup. Last month, the Brentford game at Old Trafford had to be moved up because United had to play Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final. The game has been moved to April 5 by the Premier League. United won’t play Brighton at the Amex Stadium before the international break on March 19.

This gives the league’s leaders another problem to deal with. After beating Stoke City 1-0 last night, Brighton moved on to the FA Cup quarterfinals. They will now play their match for the last eight on the same weekend that they were supposed to host United.
The Red Devils could also make it to the quarterfinals of the famous old tournament if they beat West Ham United tonight at Old Trafford in the fifth round. After this round, there will only be eight teams left, so it won’t be a surprise if United gets drawn with Brighton. They might play in the FA Cup on March 18 or 19.
