Luis Diaz Eyes Bayern Munich Transfer

Luis Diaz of Liverpool hopes that Bayern Munich will make a new, appealing offer to try to convince the Premier League club to let him go. The Colombian wants to leave the Reds during the summer transfer window, according to reports from around the world on Monday.

Reports say that Liverpool turned down Bayern’s bid of €67.5 million for Diaz last week. However, the German team is expected to make another offer of roughly €70 million plus extras because Diaz is their top target.

Diaz has become an important player at Anfield since he joined from Porto in January 2022. Last season was Diaz’s best with Liverpool. He scored 17 goals in all competitions and was a key player in the team’s title-winning campaign, as they finished 10 points ahead of the second-place team.

At first, Diaz wanted to play for Barcelona, and the Catalan club was also interested in him since they wanted him to work with Lamine Yamal and Raphina in attack.

Reports say that Liverpool rejected down Barcelona’s bid of about £65 million for Diaz because they wanted to seek for other options.

Liverpool doesn’t want to sell the 28-year-old and doesn’t want any more offers, but since the summer transfer window doesn’t close for more than a month, the Reds are likely to change their minds at some point.

Liverpool is still determined to keep Diaz, even if his contract has only two years left. Other big clubs, like Manchester City and teams in the Saudi Pro League, are also interested in him.
