According to reports, the Bundesliga heavyweights are eager to trade Pavard and hope to recuperate the €35 million they spent Stuttgart for his services in the summer of 2019. Pep Guardiola is interested in the 27-year-old as a replacement for Kyle Walker, who has given Bayern the go-ahead to sign him this summer.

Fabrizio Romano reported last week that Manchester City and Bayern Munich ‘will discuss’ Pavard in the future. But Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk claims both Liverpool and Chelsea are vying with City to sign the World Cup winner.

He tweeted: “Manchester City now has Benjamin Pavard on their list as a new right back.

“Pavard is Man City’s priority in case Kyle Walker joins Bayern. The deal has advanced on the player side but is not completed yet.

Falk told GIVEMESPORT: “Yeah, of course. He’s an interesting player for the Premier League. Chelsea are always in talks with his management. Liverpool are in talks with his management, Barcelona as well, but Barcelona don’t have the money at the moment. They would like to have him as a free agent next summer.”
