After much deliberation, PSG head coach Christophe Galtier chose to open the match with Gianluigi Donnarumma between the posts. This has resulted in Keylor Navas spending most of the 2022-23 football season on the bench. With a few days left in January, the capital club may be looking to unload the three-time UEFA Champions League winner. Leicester City is the most recent club to join the fray.

According to BBC Radio Solent Sport, the Foxes have renewed their interest in the seasoned goalkeeper. Leicester City could come to regret replacing Kasper Schmeichel with a younger goalkeeper after letting the 36-year-old go for OGC Nice. For Brendan Rodgers, 29-year-old Danny Ward has started 19 matches, allowing 33 goals and averaging 1.74 goals against per 90. Ward has a 64 per cent save rate in the Premier League.

Navas, on the other hand, has maintained a save percentage of 72% or above in either La Liga or Ligue 1 since 2013. Therefore, The Foxes could snag the Costa Rican international to keep themselves above the relegation zone. The Foxes have a two-point cushion from the drop zone. In addition, they aren’t the only Premier League teams interested in signing Navas. Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, it has been said, are both interested in signing the goaltender.
