Thanks to Iberia’s support of LALIGA, fans throughout Latin America will have access to a variety of new activations, events, and content. Teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona have large fandoms in the region, and Iberia has the most flights between Europe and Latin America.

The airline has a significant presence in major cities like Mexico City, Bogota, and Buenos Aires, and flies its flagship aircraft, the Airbus A350. Furthermore, sponsorship falls at a pivotal time for both organizations. Iberia is expanding its reach into the Latin American market by adding 18 new destinations across 16 countries this year. Iberia claimed in a statement that because to this expansion, the airline has flown more passengers than ever before.

Meanwhile, LALIGA is honoring a major shift in their brand’s identity. The CEO and President of Iberia is Fernando Candela. Last but not least, Iberia and LALIGA have both been named among Spain’s most prestigious businesses and non-profits in recent years. Brand Finance lists LALIGA as one of the world’s 50 most valuable brands.

When it comes to Spain’s tourism industry, Iberia is by far the most valuable brand. The Mad Cool Festival, one of the most important music festivals in Spain, takes place from July 6 to 8 in Madrid, and on July 5, Iberia Express flew passengers between London Gatwick and Madrid Barajas.
