According to Le Monde, Kylian Mbappe wants €55 million in outstanding payments from PSG. Though goodbyes are never easy, this one is especially difficult. Kylian Mbappe is suing Paris Saint-Germain for €55 million for the final months of his salary and extra bonuses at €100 million.

After seven years at Paris, Mbappe joined Real Madrid this summer. The top player clashed with PSG’s management and Qatar Sports Investments, which delayed payments from the French team captain, over his departure. Despite rumors of his dissatisfaction, Mbappé posted a goodbye video praising his fellow PSG players, Parc des Prince stadium personnel, and fans for their dedication and support, but not the club’s directors or owners.

The disagreement has been transferred to France’s professional football league (LFP), according to Le Monde. Mbappe’s lawyers agree to resort to an employment tribunal if sport’s governing organizations don’t resolve the issue. PSG says their financial actions were justified and that conversations with Mbappé and his representatives are underway.
