Klopp Rejects Real Madrid Coaching Offer

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who is now linked to Red Bull as head of global football, is anticipated not to accept any managerial role in the world of football until the summer of 2026, international media reported on Wednesday.

A well-known English tabloid has stated that Klopp “currently goes no further than Red Bull,” therefore extinguishing Real Madrid’s ambitions for him to be their new leader.

Following Real Madrid’s Champions League exit, rumours surfaced that former Liverpool boss Xabi Alonso and Bayer Leverkusener coach Carlo Ancelotti were the frontrunners to replace Ancelotti, therefore endangering his future with the team.

According to sources, Ancelotti’s future depends on the Copa del Rey final; moreover, a loss in the final will pack bags for the Italian and a triumph could constitute grounds for his stay at the club.

Looking at Madrid’s current form, however, the Los Blancos will find it difficult to defeat the La Liga tops, from whom they have already lost a cup final this season.

Reports earlier said that the 57-year-old German football manager was unhappy with his new employment at Red Bull; yet, his agency refuted these rumours by stating Klopp “is very happy with his new role”.

Following a 23-year career as manager at several venues, the German football coach chose to resign from Liverpool responsibility last season after winning six different major trophies including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup twice, FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in his tenure since 2015.
