Jürgen Klopp has apologized to Liverpool fans as the club nears the end of a difficult season, stating he is “100% responsible for this crap.” Liverpool has dropped to ninth in the Premier League, 29 points behind league leaders Arsenal, who visit Anfield on Sunday after coming close to completing the quadruple last season.

Klopp’s side also relinquished the Carabao Cup title they won last year and will hand over the FA Cup after being knocked out in the fourth round, while they left the Champions League at the last-16 stage after being thrashed 5-2 at Anfield by Real Madrid.
On the other hand, Klopp thanked Liverpool fans for their ongoing support and stated his hope that the club will emerge from its difficulties in a “classy manner.”
Speaking exclusively before the meeting with Arsenal, Klopp said: “I’m sorry for our people that they don’t have the season they wished for. But in the long term they will forget that.”
“I know everybody can express their emotions in an instant, and there will be a lot of negative comments about us – I understand that,” said Klopp. “But the people in the stadium are incredible.
