Joao Felix Joins Ronaldo at Al-Nassr

On Tuesday, Chelsea and Al-Nassr announced that Joao Felix will join Cristiano Ronaldo at the Saudi Pro League team. Felix signed a two-year contract with Al-Nassr after loaning to AC Milan. A short caption accompanied Al-Nassr’s Felix video on X. Let’s win together… Al-Nassr wrote on X about Joao Felix.

“I’m here to have fun and win together,” the 25-year-old striker said in a video. Chelsea also posted a parting note on Instagram for their Portuguese striker. Chelsea announced on Instagram that Joao Felix had left and joined Al-Nassr. Our thanks to Joao for his two stays at the club and best wishes for his future.”

Felix played 20 outings for Chelsea in all competitions and scored seven goals last season. The transaction was not disclosed, but British media reported that it might be valued up to 43.7 million pounds ($58.17 million), including 26.2 million in an initial fee and 17.5 million in add-ons. Joao Felix joined Atletico Madrid from Benfica at 19 in 2019, then loaned to Chelsea for 2022-2023 and Barcelona the following season.

He joined Chelsea permanently in August 2024. Al-Nassr will have Felix and Portugal captain Ronaldo, coached by Jorge Jesus. They play Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup semi-finals on August 19.
