How did Jack Grealish perform on his Everton debut?

Everton kicked off a new era at their new home venue, Hill Dickinson Stadium, with a flyer. They got their first three points of the season on Sunday by beating Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0, thanks to Jack Grealish, who produced both assists on his debut.

Iliman Ndiaye, a top player for Everton, became the first man ever to score a goal at Hill Dickinson Stadium. In the 23rd minute, Ndiaye knocked in Jack Grealish’s cross to give his club the lead on the scoreboard.

The 25-year-old is also the final person to score a goal at Everton’s old home, Goodison Park. Ndiaye scored both goals in his team’s 2-0 win over Southampton in May, breaking a 133-year run at “The Grand Old Lady.”

James Garner then scored again in the 53rd minute, thanks to Grealish’s second assist in his debut start for Everton. That made the score 2-0 and sealed the win for the home team.

Grealish thought about his first game and that it was a huge deal to play in the new stadium.
