Guardiola Talks Jack Grealish’s Future?

Jack Grealish’s fate will be decided at the conclusion of the season, said Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Signed for £100 million four years ago, Grealish has experienced a decline in his playing minutes this season, which has spurred transfer rumours. Along with not being bought in during the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace, the England international has only made seven starts for Manchester City.

According to Guardiola, talks between club officials and Grealish’s representation will take place, and following the season a decision will be taken.

“We did not speak; I did not speak with him. Though these things belong to the agency and the club and Txiki, people don’t believe me; in this case, Hugo as well. Both of them will decide, Guardiola remarked.

“He has to come back to start to play minutes again; what is going to happen will happen.”

The City manager underlined the need of moving ahead even though the player expressed discontent with the lack of game time.

“It’s not Jack just by nature. My locker room is empty, and I believe that this is normal for all the locker rooms worldwide—that is, when they do not play.

“They have to figure out how everything goes when the team is winning; they are not happy either.

“They are here to play; they become unsatisfied when they do not play. In every team, that is the usual posture.

To finish the present Premier League season, Manchester City has to play two more games. On Wednesday they will perform Bournemouth; on Sunday Fulham.
