Cristiano Ronaldo Enters Hollywood?

Having had incredible success as a YouTuber, Cristiano Ronaldo has lately entered the film industry working with British filmmaker Matthew Vaughn. The renowned team started UR-MARV, an independent film production.

Starting with “Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies; Matthew Vaughn loves sports – and they both have a good story,” Ronaldo said in a joint statement. Both will now join the worlds of sport and storytelling after both have been disruptive champions at their game.

Already working on an action trilogy, the production firm seeks to establish a new era of filmmaking by “embracing innovative technology, with a nod to tradition”.

Completed already are the first two films in the series, funded and produced by Ur-Marv. Third installment production is under place right now.

About his cooperation with Vaughn, Ronaldo said, “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.” Having won five Ballon d’Ors throughout his remarkable career, the Portuguese football great wants to be as successful a movie producer.
