Cristiano Ronaldo criticised by sections of Manchester United fanbase
Football club Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he feels that the club has betrayed him, that club manager Erik ten Hague and some senior executives tried to force him out of the club. In an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo claimed that in the summer of this year, the club’s manager, Ten Hague, tried to force him to leave the club. Cristiano Ronaldo has been blasted by Manchester United fans after he took to Twitter to promote his new collection of NFTs

One fan responded: “And you say United are all about the marketing”, while another simply added: “You’re finished.”
Another supporter clearly hasn’t taken Ronaldo’s interview with Morgan well, as they wrote: “After the interview, I can ask myself this question: Am I crazy if I think Ronaldo doesn’t enter top five best players in Portugal’s history?”
On his manager, Ronaldo said, “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me. If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.”
As a result, it looks increasingly likely that Ronaldo has played his final game for United, but that won’t come as much of a blow to a player who has wanted out of Old Trafford since the summer.
