Cristiano Jr Shines For Portugal U16

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has already left his mark in the global arena as he scored his first goal in the U16 national team of Portugal in a 3-0 win over Wales. The 14-year-old striker, the son of the world-renowned football star Cristiano Ronaldo, proceeds to make his own steps but still follows in the foot steps of his father.

Junior was first played in the starting line up on the left wing position. He scored, coolly, during the 42 nd minute, after a perfect pass by Brazilian-born player Carlos Moita, who is a youth player at Braga, putting Portugal on top. He played until the 62nd minute when he was replaced, and Rafael Cabral scored two more goals to make the victory a decisive one.

This look follows shortly after the U16S debut of Junior this week, where he got on briefly as a substitute. He was a former U15s player who had scored two goals in four matches in the national team of Portugal.
