Courtois Eyes Racing After Football

After retiring from football, Real Madrid custodian Thibaut Courtois wants to race in GT3 and move to Formula 2, international media claimed on Wednesday.

Courtois, 33, owns TC Racing, a motorsport business he bought in 2023, and attended the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa last weekend. His team competes in Formula 4, but the Madrid great wants to advance.

“We’re currently racing in Formula 4 in Spain, but normally we’d move up a level next year by participating in the Eurocup- 3,” he stated.

Formula 1 may be tricky; I’d need a major partner. Our objective is to reach Formula 3 and hopefully Formula 2.”

Courtois, a world-class custodian, has won five titles with Madrid, including two Champions Leagues and three LaLiga titles.

In addition to football, he has invested in DUX Gaming and TC Racing.

After retiring from football, Courtois wants to race.

“When I stop playing football, that would be a dream come true, like taking part in a GT3 race,” stated.

“But I don’t know my talents, and I don’t want to be three seconds behind. First, I want to know my skills.”
