Can Barcelona Finalize Signings Before the First Match?

International media claimed Friday that Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is confident about signing important players before Saturday’s La Liga opener at Mallorca.

Due to La Liga’s rigorous financial restrictions, the Spanish champions have spent more on signings and wages than earnings for consecutive seasons, making it difficult to register players. Flick is unhappy but hopeful they will resolve the issue before their LaLiga opener.

“I’m unhappy with the scenario. “I know the situation and trust the club,” Flick added.

“We must wait until tomorrow. Similar situation last season.

In June, Barcelona signed Joan Garcia from Espanyol, Wojciech Szczesny, who signed an extension, and Marcus Rashford, who joined from Manchester United on loan. All three have not yet been registered. The club’s registration issue was partially resolved by captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s spectacular internal maneuvering.

The club asked Ter Stegen to sign a long-term medical leave to clear 80% of his earnings until mid-season and comply with LaLiga’s Financial Fair Play guidelines, but he originally refused.

After agreeing to the arrangement, he was reinstalled as captain after three months off for surgery. Marc and the club resolved his issue, according to Hansi Flick. I think everyone speaking together is most important. Flick: Marc and the club spoke.

“His return is extremely crucial to me, Marc, and the club.

He’s been a great goalie here for years, so it’s crucial he’s ready to play when he returns. We’ll all support him.”

Due to Inigo Martinez’s sale to Al-Nassr, Barca have €14 million less on the pay bill, but they must still meet La Liga’s regulations.

Flick had mixed thoughts about losing the central defense veteran.

“I was astonished but understood him. I’m sad he left—he’s a tremendous player and guy “Flick stated.

“He was a leader and a great player and dressing room personality. Definitely deserves this and best wishes.”
