Brighton win 2-1 late over Manchester United

Brighton & Hove Albion overcame Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday to stay flawless in the Premier League as Joao Pedro scored in the fifth minute of added time. So, Brighton grabbed the lead when Kaoru Mitoma collected the ball on the left wing and crossed past United’s defence to Danny Welbeck, who scored against his previous team.

United equalised at the hour when 22-year-old Amad Diallo was let through on goal and cut inside his marker before shooting, which bounced past Jason Steele and into the nett. Brighton’s pressure paid off when Simon Adingra got space in the area and chipped the ball over United’s defenders to Pedro, who headed home to earn them their second win of the season.
