Ouattara, who has scored five goals in 11 international appearances for Burkina Faso, signs a contract for five-and-a-half years. Bill Foley, the new American owner of Bournemouth, just acquired a minority share in Lorient. Foley has committed to bolstering Gary O’Neil’s team in an effort to steer them away from the Premier League’s relegation zone.

“We are pleased to secure the services of Dango, a promising and sought-after player with a great deal of potential,” Cherries chief executive Neill Blake said.

“We have been monitoring him for a period of time and he fits the profile of the young, ambitious, hungry, and hard-working player this club is looking to recruit.”
