In the first leg of their quarterfinal, Manchester City defeated Bayern Munich 3-0. Wednesday, April 19th, at the Allianz Arena will host the return leg. Meanwhile, in the first leg of the quarterfinals, Milan defeated Napoli, another Serie A team, 1-0 in the San Siro.

On Tuesday (April 18), they will meet again at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for the second half of the series. City will face either Real Madrid or Chelsea in the quarterfinals if they make it that far. Los Merengues have a 2-0 lead from the first leg, so the La Liga club might be their next opponent.

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri will face either Benfica or Inter Milan in the semi-finals. With a 2-0 victory in the first leg away from home, Inter has put themselves in a strong position to advance. City and Milan last played each other in Europe during the 1978–1979 UEFA Cup season.

The Citizens advanced to the quarterfinals with a 5-2 victory on aggregate. If these two teams meet in the Champions League final, it will be held on June 10 at Istanbul’s Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
