Barcelona Extend Raphinha’s Deal Until 2028

Keeping Raphael Dias Belloli, sometimes known as Raphinha, with the club until June 30, 2028, Barcelona declared on Thursday that they had renewed his contract.

Under the attendance of Barcelona president Joan Laporta, first vice-president Rafa Yuste, sports director Anderson Luis de Souza (Deco), and other club officials, Raphinha signed the new contract in the club headquarters.

Already making a big impact in Catalonia, head coach Hansi Flick succeeded Xavi Hernandez after Barcelona finished last season without a trophy. Having his previous contract slated to end in June 2027, Raphinha joined Barcelona in 2022.

Declaring the contract extension to be a “truly special reward,” Raphinha said he wanted to stay at the club until the conclusion of his career. He spoke of the gratification of making the fans happy.

For me, this is quite fulfilling and something really unique. It makes me extremely glad; since I arrived, my personal goal has been to make the supporters very happy.

“My dream is to be here till the conclusion of my career; I have discussed this with my family. And I want to perform at my best as well.

Arriving at Barcelona, the winger has shown remarkable performance and been a major player in contests, scoring 34 goals and dishing 25 assists in just 56 games. Over the previous three years, the 28-year-old has won five major medals with Barcelona—two La Liga crowns, two Spanish Super Cups, and a Copa del Rey.
