Arsenal’s full Premier League squad for the second half of the season has been confirmed as they aim for a historic Premier League title. At the halfway point of the season, the Gunners are leading the league and have impressed many with their play.
Arsenal Premier League squad revealed after Bukayo Saka and William Saliba absences
Despite their large point leads over second-place Manchester City, there are still plenty of plot twists to come. Three reinforcements were added to the roster in January in preparation for the upcoming challenge. Jakub Kiwior came in soon after from Spezia, and Leandro Trossard came in for £21 million from Brighton.
North London club Tottenham Hotspur signed midfielder Jorginho from their London rivals Chelsea on the final day of the transfer window. To no one’s surprise, all three have made the Premier League’s final roster of 25 players. Also, therefore available for the remainder of the season.
However, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba were notably absent from the final 25-man roster. Both have been indispensable this season, and their absence from the official roster raises serious questions. That’s because they’re considered “under-21s,” which means they can play for the team. Despite not being included in the official roster of senior players.
Since both players are now 21 years old, the Gunners won’t be able to pull this off again next year, but for the time being, it has allowed them to bolster their roster.
