There is now an expectation that Shakhtar will decide whether or not they will come to terms with those demands and allow Mudryk to join Arsenal. While the complicated negotiations continue, Arsenal remains optimistic that a deal will be reached soon.
The Premier League leaders have made the 22-year-old a top priority as they try to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s roster. However, he recently went to a training camp in Turkey with the rest of his Shakhtar teammates.
Last month, Arsenal made a preliminary bid for Mudryk. Chelsea has also reportedly held conversations with Shakhtar about a possible move for the Ukraine international, who stood out in the Champions League group stages with three goals and two assists in six matches. Mudryk has also been outstanding for Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Premier League, contributing seven goals and six assists.
