On a night when former manager Arsene Wenger returned to the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal defeated West Ham 3-1 to move seven points clear at the top of the Premier League. Wenger, who spent 22 years at Arsenal, stated that he has no intention of ever seeing his former team again.

When William Saliba was hauled down by Jarrod Bowen, FIFA’s chief of global football development was back, and his previous side fell behind to Said Benrahma’s penalty (27). After halftime, the Gunners needed to reply, and Bukayo Saka (53) and Gabriel Martinelli (58) accomplished just that. Eddie Nketiah capped off a great night for Arsenal without Gabriel Jesus (69).

“Thank you so much for him coming. Hopefully, walking through the building, he will feel everything that everybody thinks of him, everything he left here, and his presence is something that has to be very attached to this football club. So, thank you for doing that because it means a lot to every body at the club.

“It’s great and winning my mood is going to be better to speak to him and be around the team. He picked the right moment. I thought the performance today was at a level that he deserved and thateverybodyhe would like.”
