Antonela Roccuzzo Side-Eyes Messi at Inter Miami Match

Argentine football legend Lionel Messi was caught on camera using his phone at a Saturday Inter Miami match he watched with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo.

The 37-year-old footballer’s wife was not impressed by his phone use during his team’s match and gave him a nasty side-eye. In the Copa America final, the former Barcelona player left with a swollen ankle and his team won without him.

He attended his club’s Leagues Cup match against Puebla at the Herons’ Chase Stadium despite his injury, presumably aggravating Roccuzzo, Daily Mail said. Messi was seen on video using his phone in the 34th minute, prompting his wife to frown.

A photo of Roccuzzo’s glare on X has over 175,000 views (and counting). Inter Miami defeated Puebla 2-0 in the Leagues Cup without their top man.

Herons’ Matias Rojas scored in the ninth minute and Luis Suarez got a second in the 72nd. Miami won the competition last summer after Messi, Busquets, and Alba sensationally guided the team to its first trophy. Messi hasn’t played in two weeks, but Miami hopes to have him back against Tigres on Saturday.
