Al Nassr Wants Ronaldo to Stay?

Al Nassr want Cristiano Ronaldo to remain, but the sporting director of the team Fernando Hierro noted on Thursday that he is having difficulties obtaining the Portuguese player’s signature. Ronaldo hinted at his Al Nassr future with a vague social media message following the end of the Saudi Pro League with loss in his last match.

On X (previously Twitter), Ronaldo uploaded a picture of himself sporting the Al Nassr jersey together with a mysterious comment.

“This chapter is finished,”.

“The tale?” Still under composition. Thankyou to all.

Declaring in a news conference on Thursday, Hierro said the club is working with Ronaldo and would have a solution shortly.

“Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr ends in June 30. There are several clubs eager to sign him; we will try to renew his contract so he may stay with us.

“We are contract renewal negotiations with Cristiano Ronaldo. God willing, we shall solve it,” he said.

Hierro acknowledged that the 40-year-old Portuguese star has been instrumental in the development of the game in Saudi Arabia and mentioned that top-level players have joined the league following his arrival.

“Ronaldo’s early appearance marks a national endeavour. Hierro added, Cristiano has exposed football in this nation to the world.

“It’s amazing that he had the bravery to visit here, stay here, and let the Saudi Arabian league be known worldwide. That marks an amazing turning point.

“Top-level athletes have come here since his arrival. He locked every door. From there, the top officials are performing quite amazing. They are headed onwards. We want him to stay with us, hence we are in touch to renew his contract.”
